AGREM 1670 Broadcast Information

The "live" AGREM-1670 broadcast can be heard within the Avon Grove area with a portable/emergency or vehicle-based AM radio that can tune to 1670 on the AM band. Whenever an alert is issued by the National Weather Service for the Avon Grove Area, the live broadcast is interrupted by the alert message.

We recommend purchasing a battery operated or hand-crank powered AM/FM/Weather band radio for use during power outages and other emergencies. These radios are a useful addition to a personal or a family's 72-hour emergency preparedness kit.

If you want to receive the National Weather Service broadcasts and weather alerts, you need a radio capable of tuning to one of the frequencies used for those broadcasts.
